Cookies policy

Please use the website of THE PASSAGE responsibly and, before continuing, read this cookies policy, the privacy policy and the legal notice of the website as its content is binding for you as a user of the website.

The owner of this website is LORD REAL ESTATE BV Sucursal en España, (henceforth, LORD). For more information, please read the Legal Notice.

LORD respects the fundamental rights, public freedoms and interests of everyone it deals with. Thus, LORD respects all legal requirements relating to data protection and safeguards, in accordance with them, the personal data that it collects and processes.

  1. What are cookies

Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that a server saves about a user on their own computer. The servers of the LORD website put metainformation on the hard drive of your computer and mobile devices (henceforth, devices) through your web browsers in order to allow the LORD systems to recognise your browsers when you visit our website in the future.

  1. Types of cookies

According to different classification criteria, cookies can be classified into the following types:

According to the issuer of the cookies:

  • Own cookies: The cookies sent to the user´s terminal from a computer or domain managed by the editor (LORD in this case) and from which the service requested by the user is provided.

  • Third party cookies: The cookies sent to the user´s terminal from a computer or domain that is not managed by the editor, but rather by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.

According to the life cycle of the cookies:

  • Session cookies: They are a type of cookie designed to collect and store data while the user visits a website.

  • Persistent cookies: They are a type of cookie where the data remains stored on the terminal and they can be accessed and processed during a period defined by the party responsible for the cookie, which can range from a few minutes to several years.

According to the purpose for which the cookies are used:

  • Technical cookies: Those that enable the implementation of basic tasks for the functioning of any dynamic website. Thus, for example, they make it possible to know when a human being or an application is browsing and, in the former case, if it is an anonymous or registered user.

  • Analysis cookies: Those which, processed by us or by third parties, enable us to quantify the number of users and thus carry out the measurement and statistical analysis of how users use the service offered. To that end, your browsing on our website is analysed in order to improve the range of products or services that we offer you.

  • Advertising cookies: Those that enable the management, in the most effective way possible, of the advertising spaces that, where applicable, the editor has included on a website, application or platform from which the requested service is provided based on criteria such as the content published or how frequently adverts are displayed.

  • Behavioural advertising cookies: Those that enable the management, in the most effective way possible, of the advertising spaces that, where applicable, the editor has included on a website, application or platform from which the requested service is provided. These cookies store behavioural information about the users obtained through the continuous observation of your browsing habits, which makes it possible to create a specific profile in order to display advertising in accordance with it. Likewise, it is possible that a cookie may be installed on your browser when you visit a website or open an email where an advertisement or promotion about our products or services, this is used by us to subsequently show you advertising linked to the search you have carried out, developing a control on our adverts in relation, for example, to the number of times they are viewed, where they appear, what time they are viewed at, etc.

  1. What cookies LORD uses on its website, which data it collects through them and for what purposes

If you want more information about Google Analytics, we invite you to visit the following Google pages:

http://www.google.com/intl/es/analytics/premium/

  1. Our recommendation

If you want, you can disable our own cookies. However, if you do so, it is possible that some features will not be executed correctly or that the browsing will be more difficult.  Thus, we recommend keeping them activated and, only if you want, deleting them upon leaving the website.

  1. How to delete cookies after browsing on our platform

Below, we explain how to delete cookies when you finish browsing on our website:

If you use Google Chrome, access the “Delete browsing data” through the “History” menu. A pop-up menu will appear where you can decide which information you want to delete, including cookies.

If you use Firefox, access the option “Clear history” through the “History” menu within the “Privacy and Security” tab of the “Options” menu. A pop-up menu will appear where you can decide which information you want to delete, including cookies.

If you use Internet Explorer…go to the option “Delete browsing history” through the “Security” menu. A pop-up menu will appear where you can decide which information you want to delete, including cookies.

If you use the Android Chrome browser, access the option “Security and privacy” through the “Settings” menu. A pop-up menu will appear where you can decide which information you want to delete,

As you can see, the course of action is very similar in all browsers so if you use a browser different to those mentioned, it will not be difficult for you to find the feature for deleting cookie data. You can also configure your system so that it automatically deletes the cookies at the end of the browsing session.

  1. How to disable cookies before browsing on our website

If, even after reading the above recommendation, you still want to disable the cookies, you can ensure that our computer or device does not store our cookies. Below, we explain how to do so.

If you use Google Chrome, access the menu “Personalise and control Google Chrome” (normally in the top right corner, just to the right of the address bar), click on the link “Show advanced options” and click on the option “Content settings”. You will see the available options for cookies.

If you use Firefox, access the “Tools” menu (normally in the menu bar, just above the address bar), click on “Options” and click on the “Privacy” tab. You will see the available options.

If you use Internet Explorer, access the “Tools” menu (normally in the top right corner, just on the right of the browsing tabs), click on the option “Internet options” and, in the pop-up menu, click on the “Security” tab. You can choose one of the security levels pre-set by Microsoft or personalise your own security level.

If you use the Android Chrome browser, access the “Settings” menu (normally in the top right corner, next to the button for opening a new tab), click on the “Security and privacy” option and, in the pop-up menu, you can choose to accept cookies or not.

If you use any other browser or platform, the process is very similar. You can get information in the help menus of each of them.

You can also configure them in the pop-up menu that will appear the first time you visit our website.
